TRE® (Tension, Stress and Trauma Releasing Exercises)
It is from my own healing of Post Traumatic Stress and many years of working with it, that I bring you this very effective tool known as TRE. This is available in person as well as video conference.
During a 60-minute TRE session, we will move through an innovative series of simple exercises together to assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma by inducing a gentle muscular shaking response. This natural response generally feels pleasant and soothing, and after doing TRE, many people report feelings of deep peace and improved well-being. This is a very effective tool for the release of stress and trauma.
During this gentle-yet-highly-impactful session, you will remain fully present to your body and its sensations by asking yourself three core questions:
Am I present/aware of what is going on, or am I dissociating?
Am I comfortable with what’s happening?
Do I feel safe?
In the safe space we create, your body naturally unwinds itself from the tension and stress that has accumulated through trauma and over time.
