The Body Remembers—and It Also Knows How to Heal

A somatic approach to healing, wholeness, and coming home to yourself

There’s a quiet intelligence in the body.

A story it’s been gathering since the moment you took your first breath.

It remembers the joy of dancing freely.

The comfort of being held.

The times you felt connected, safe, and whole.

And it also remembers the ruptures—The moments of shock, loss, grief, or illness that never had space to move all the way through.

The places you had to go numb just to keep going.

The coping patterns or addictions that helped you survive but kept looping the pain.

Life kept happening.

We had to keep working, keep caring, keep going.

But the body holds it all—lovingly, patiently—waiting for the right time to release, to restore, to return to balance.

There’s a story held in your cells, your tissues, your bones.

And when we listen, it starts to speak.

This is the work we do together.

A Healing Session Is a Return to Yourself

There’s no formula for healing.

Each session is shaped around you—your body, your story, your energy, your Spirit.

These sessions are a return to the part of you that’s never been broken—just waiting to be remembered.

What You Might Experience

While every session is unique, here are some of the elements you may experience:

Grounding & Listening

We begin by arriving in the space together.

Breath, stillness, and gentle dialogue help your system settle.

I listen—not just to your words, but to what’s underneath.

We begin to gently weave your story back together.

Somatic & Energetic Bodywork

I use a blend of intuitive touch, energy healing, and ceremonial bodywork to support your nervous system and tissues in releasing stored patterns.

This work draws on years of training in traditional healing lineages from Africa, Thailand, and Native America—alongside cranial-sacral and somatic modalities.

Together, we help your body unwind contraction, pain, or dissociation—often down to the cellular level.

Release & Integration

Sometimes emotions rise.

Sometimes memories.

Sometimes deep rest.

We follow your body’s lead.

Whatever wants to move is welcomed and supported so it can complete its cycle—safely, gently, and in its own timing.

Ancestral & Spiritual Support (when invited)

At times, ancestors or guides may show up.

Sometimes the inner child appears.

There may be energetic parts of you that split off during overwhelming experiences—and we welcome those parts home.

And sometimes, silence is the deepest healing.

Whatever emerges, we honor it.

You Don’t Need the Right Words

You don’t have to explain it all.

You don’t need a diagnosis, a plan, or a polished story.

If something inside you is asking for care—emotionally, physically, or spiritually—your body already knows the way.

Together, we create space for it to be heard.

What Clients Often Say Afterward

“I feel spacious.”

“Like something deep in me let go.”

“More grounded in myself.”

“Like I came home.”

Healing doesn’t mean everything is fixed in one session. But it does mean your body has been heard, your spirit honored, and the door to restoration gently opened.

This Work Is for You If…

  • You’re ready to reconnect with your body and inner knowing

  • You’re moving through grief, illness, trauma, transition, or addiction

  • You want to move beyond symptom management

  • You want to be met with presence, compassion, and care
